Edmonds Law Office Welcomes Intern Petersen for Summer 2020 Clerkship

Edmonds Law Office of Civil Rights LLC welcomes Intern Elizabeth Petersen to our office for a part-time, virtual 8-week legal clerkship program. As a law clerk, Elizabeth will be drafting demand letters and pleadings; interviewing clients; and conducting federal civil rights research. The office received over 60 applications from qualified college and law students throughout the country and extends a warm welcome to Elizabeth!


More about Elizabeth


Elizabeth Petersen is a rising 1L from Beresford, South Dakota. She recently graduated with honors from Augustana University in Sioux Falls, SD with a major in Governm ent and International Affairs and a minor in Spanish. She has experience working in legal aid and has a passion for making the law widely accessible to all, regardless of their economic status.


Elizabeth is looking forward to starting her legal education at New England Law - Boston in the fall where she has been admitted to the honors program. She hopes that her experience with Edmonds Law Office of Civil Rights LLC will propel her towards success in her legal education and beyond by giving her hands-on and guided legal experience.
