Running a medical practice in Georgia is complex: regulations, billing, compliance, employee rules, and patient privacy all add up to a lot to manage. Our Audit Services dig deep into your practice’s key risk areas so you can fix issues early, avoid costly penalties, and keep your focus where it belongs: patient care.

Do you need medical audit services?
Who Needs a Medical Practice Audit?
-
You run a Georgia medical or specialty practice and worry that navigating all the complex compliance rules feels like a never-ending maze—and that one mistake could cost you your license. You don’t have hours to spend decoding regulations on top of running your practice.
-
You’re concerned whether your employment contracts truly protect the patient panel you worked so hard to build. You worry about employees poaching patients or starting a competing practice—but Georgia’s non-compete laws feel confusing and overwhelming.
-
You’ve hired a third-party billing company, but you’re unsure if they’ll stand behind you during an insurance audit—leaving you to handle any problems on your own.
-
You run a cash-pay practice and worry about protecting your revenue from unexpected chargebacks or disputes—with no clear legal safeguards in place.
-
You’re preparing to sell or buy a practice and worry that hidden problems could tank the deal or leave you on the hook after closing.
-
You feel buried under piles of paperwork, unsure if your patient consents, policies, and workflows are really up to Georgia’s standards.
-
You want a trusted partner who can cut through the overwhelm and give you clear, practical fixes—so you can finally get back to focusing on patient care without that gnawing “what if?” feeling.

Hi, I'm Angie.
THE HEALTHCARE AUDIT LAWYER FOR DOCTORS & MED PRACTICES

The Healthcare Audit Lawyer That Shows You What’s Working, What’s Missing, and What Matters Most
Turn “I hope this is fine…” into “I know this is right.”
Most Georgia doctors didn’t start their own practice because they dreamed of drafting HIPAA protocols or decoding employment laws.
You did it because you wanted to practice medicine differently—with autonomy, integrity, and patient-centered care.

And somewhere between seeing your first patients and building a thriving practice…legal naturally slid to the back burner.

No judgment—truly.
I see it every day:
-
Patient consents borrowed from a colleague
-
HIPAA “policies” downloaded from an EHR system
-
Old templates stitched together from multiple jobs
-
A DIY compliance setup that seemed fine… until something feels off
You’re not alone. Many physicians begin exactly this way.
That’s why my role as your healthcare audit attorney isn’t to shame, scold, or overwhelm you—it’s to give you clarity, confidence, and a path forward.

I help Georgia medical practice owners spot the blind spots, fix what matters most, and make your compliance system match the level of care you give your patients.
I understand the pressure you’re under. I pivoted from heavy civil-rights litigation to healthcare law because I wanted to help doctors prevent legal chaos—not battle it once it explodes. And I know the balancing act you live every day: patient care, staff questions, billing, insurance headaches, telehealth rules, and making sure your license stays protected.

You deserve support from someone who doesn’t just know the law, but understands why you started this practice in the first place—and what’s at stake if compliance isn’t done right.

An audit is the first step to taking that weight off your shoulders.
Helping you understand what your legal gaps are

And just when you thought the deal couldn't get any sweeter, I throw in a cherry on top: a money-back guarantee. That's right, a risk-free opportunity. Because I believe in my work as much as you believe in yours.
So, while providing exceptional patient care remains your priority, let managing the legal health of your practice be mine.
I'm your legal partner to a more fulfilling medical practice.

Healthcare Audit Attorney FAQs
What is a medical practice audit and why do I need one?
Maybe you grabbed your patient consents from another physician or downloaded them from a free website. When you first started, your focus was likely on growing your patient load—not legal compliance—and that’s completely understandable.
A common misconception is that small or solo medical practices don’t have to follow the same rules as larger ones—but in Georgia, that’s simply not true.
Our audit services give you a no-pressure, low-time-commitment chance to ask the tough questions:
-
Is my consent form actually enforceable?
-
Can I legally see patients across state lines via telehealth?
-
Does this employment contract truly protect my practice and my interests?
And much more.
An audit provides clear legal insights into your DIY setup or outdated compliance systems. At the end, you’ll receive a concrete, prioritized plan outlining your biggest risks and exactly what to fix first—helping you protect your practice without the guesswork.
How do I know which audit package is right for my practice?
A good rule of thumb depends on a few factors like how many employees you have, how long you’ve been in business, and your specialty.

If you’re a solo practitioner with no employees and your practice is less than two years old, the Legal Checkup Diagnosis is usually the best place to start. This focuses on the most common risk areas for new or smaller practices—like patient consents and HIPAA compliance—to give you a solid foundation.

Once you start hiring employees and your practice grows, many owners choose the AuditShield option. With a larger team, risks expand, and it becomes even more important to review areas like workforce classification, billing accuracy, and state-specific regulations.

How long does the audit process take?
The Legal Diagnosis usually takes about 10 days. Our more thorough AuditShield option typically takes 2 to 3 weeks.
During that time, we carefully compare your current systems against what the law requires and compile everything into the deliverable you choose.

The Risk Analysis is a high-level overview of your selected areas, highlighting and prioritizing your biggest risks.

The Compliance Audit Report goes deeper—covering each compliance area in detail, explaining why it matters, and giving you clear steps to fix any problems.

We keep things straightforward and transparent so you always know where you stand.
